Degree C are specialists in the delivery and support of conditioned air, heating, refrigeration, electrical, metal fabrication and processing technologies.
First established in Tasmania in the 1960s as a branch of a national industrial refrigeration company, Degree C has evolved to become one of the premier multi-trade contracting companies in Tasmania.
Locally owned since 1990 and acquired by Fairbrother Pty Ltd in 2006, the company provides a diverse range of products and services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Today we employ more than 150 Tasmanians at four branch locations across the state, including more than 100 tradespeople and apprentices.
Our six diverse business streams work collaboratively to deliver an extensive range of products and services to our broad client base encompassing:
- Mechanical Services - delivering commercial and industrial air conditioning, heating, ventilation and industrial gases projects.
- Refrigeration Services – undertaking the design, installation and service of everything from the smallest commercial systems to the largest industrial ammonia plants.
- Fabrication Services - design and fabrication of steel, aluminium and stainless steel products; installation of insulation and cladding; and the design and manufacture of conveyor systems and processing equipment.
- Electrical Services - offering a full range of electrical contracting and maintenance services specialising in mechanical and industrial control systems.
- Service and Repair - providing peace of mind with a 24 hour breakdown and repair service to all refrigeration and mechanical services customers.
- Residential Product Sales - residential heating, cooling, ventilation and solar hot water solutions. Degree C is a Daikin Super Dealer and an authorised Apricus distributor.
